Product AI Product Lead at Metalab

Leads client projects end-to-end while building and improving AI agent infrastructure and workflows to automate project delivery and coordination work.

Lead Remote Posted about 13 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

We are open to remote candidates based in the Americas time zones.

Zero is a small team inside Metalab.

We explore new tools, workflows, and ways of building products. We test ideas fast, validate what works, and feed learnings back to the broader org.

Half the effort is full-time R&D. The half we’re hiring for runs client projects to put the research to the test.

You run projects end-to-end: stakeholders, scope, budget, pace, ship on time. You push for velocity and clarity over process and ceremony. You feed back honestly to the people building the tools.

If a project works because you were there, that’s good. If it works because the system was there and you ran it well, that’s the point.

You’re curious, adaptable, and excited that project delivery is changing in real time.

This isn’t a shepherd-the-handoffs role. The agent infrastructure (Concretely: a stack of skills, agents, and feedback loops that triage requests, draft updates, summarize meetings, and handle the coordination work a project lead used to do by hand) is becoming our operating system — and you’re the one who improves it.

What You’ll Do

  • Run client engagements end-to-end across web, mobile, AI-native, and emerging product surfaces
  • Translate ambiguous briefs into structured delivery, working prototypes, and shipped product
  • Collaborate closely with design and engineering leads on the work itself while not being afraid to own the delivery system around it
  • Present work clearly to clients and internal teams, holding the line on scope, budget, and quality with honesty rather than ceremony
  • Use AI tools and agents as a core part of your workflow to triage, draft, prioritize, summarize, and accelerate our Client’s outcomes
  • Build, test and maintain skills, agents, and workflows like code — version them, improve them as the team’s taste sharpens, and feed honest learnings back to R&D

Requirements

  • Project delivery experience at a digital product agency, studio, or consultancy, ideally in a Senior or Lead role
  • Product delivery experience at a startup, scale-up, or large organization is excellent experience, as well
  • Demonstrated mastery of running a project end-to-end — prioritization, sequencing, scope, dependencies, and the artifacts that keep design and engineering unblocked
  • You don’t just use AI — you build with it. Likely in your personal life and hobby time. You’ve shipped skills, agents, or automated workflows that did real work and ran on their own.
  • A bias toward owning the outcome, not just the plan — carrying product, user, and technical context across the team without letting threads drop
  • Sharp judgment on what to ship next and what to cut, keeping the team focused on solving the right problem at the right time
  • Passionate about staying ahead of how AI is changing product delivery, with a personal point of view on what’s working and what isn’t
  • Happy working with R&D — taking ideas and prototypes out of experimentation, and folding the findings back into how the broader org delivers

Equal opportunity employer

Research shows that women and other marginalized groups tend to only apply for a job when they meet every single criteria. Does this role sound like it was made for you, yet you don’t check every box? Reach out anyways!  We’re an equal opportunity employer and are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and diverse environment for employees from all walks of life.  We hire based on talent, and we’re proud of our global perspective.

Product Stripe: Product Manager, Commerce Systems

Architect and build unified control planes for Stripe's internal revenue engine, harmonizing billing, seller systems, and financial data to reduce product team friction.

Senior Remote Posted about 13 hours ago We Work Remotely — Programming
What this role involves

Headquarters: SF, SEA, NYC, US - Remote

Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Commerce Systems team is at the literal nexus of Stripe’s expansion to a full-fledged Financial Services infrastructure platform. We own the internal revenue engine that enables every product team at Stripe to monetize their offerings, manage fees, and create complex commercial constructs. You will join a high-leverage 110-person organization, partnering with 10–20 engineers to harmonize disparate systems—from billing to financial data warehouses—into a single, elegant interaction surface.

What you’ll do

As the PM for Commerce Systems, you will be the architect of the 'engine room' of Stripe’s revenue. You will be responsible for building the unified control planes that harmonize Stripe’s internal billing, seller systems, and financial data warehouses into a single, high-leverage interaction surface. In this role, your mission is to eliminate integration friction for internal product teams, allowing them to ship faster, while ensuring our merchants receive the world-class fee transparency and reconciliation tools they need to run their businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Harmonize Infrastructure: Build the "control planes" that unify seller systems, user billing, and financial data warehouses to reduce integration friction for product teams.

  • Architect for Velocity: Drastically reduce the time-to-market for new Stripe products by streamlining monetization workflows and core underlying capabilities.

  • Drive Strategy: Articulate the product vision for our revenue platform, developing annual and quarterly plans that align with Stripe’s rapid expansion into AI and new financial services.

  • Navigate Complexity: Act as a leader and change agent, thriving in "chaos" to turn operational noise into a clear engineering roadmap.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with engineering leaders to design ingestion, enrichment, and serving interfaces while acting as a thought partner for GTM, Finance, and Legal.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role.

Minimum requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager in technology companies.

  • Backend Foundation: Deep experience with large-scale backend systems and an API-first mindset.

  • Platform Expertise: Proven track record building platform infrastructure that serves the needs of multiple disparate stakeholders.

  • Communication: Ability to synthesize complex technical discussions and write succinctly for senior leadership. The ability to work cross functionally and speak multiple ‘languages’: you’re equally credible as a thought partner for Go-to-Market, Engineering, Finance or Legal leaders.

  • Operational Resilience: Comfort dealing with many moving pieces and evolving legacy systems into their next generation.

  • Most importantly, we’re looking for great product managers who deeply understand their users, turn that into great plans, and make those plans happen. Even if you don’t have all the experience above we’d encourage you to apply if this role excites you

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Fintech or at a Hyperscaler Cloud Infra provider (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

  • Experience managing technical software products from infancy to scale.

  • A background in designing and building multi-product platforms or complex billing systems.

In a world where foundational AI technologies are increasingly commoditized, it's the quality and diversity of human-generated data that truly differentiates products and models.

The Role

As part of our operational evolution we are looking for our first ever Senior Product Manager to be fully dedicated to building for our Research customers. You will take a ‘founder mindset’ to our heritage business, leading strategy and execution for a broad-remit product team focused on academic and business research customers, many of them self-serving, but increasingly more of them institutional or enterprise users.

Impact: You will be the Product person responsible for the product impact and outcomes of the team and future teams building in our Research Group. Online research is shifting rapidly with the advent of AI tools for good and bad (consider: AI-enabled online research fraud) and this has reshaped the playing field. This role will inherit a platform which has been used and loved by researchers for over 12 years, with the opportunity to own, evolve and where necessary, start again, for our next chapter. You'll report directly into the VP Product of Prolific, and will work cross-functionally while accountable for a stream-aligned team.

Responsibilities: You will be responsible for product managing a stream-aligned team of your own. This means you’ll be accountable for the outcomes and impact of that team. You’ll be advising and building with the General Manager for Research, as well as varied collaborators.

Culture: Adding on to our Prolific Principles, we expect colleagues in the Product, Research, and Design Group to demonstrate reliability, grit, diplomacy, a bias for action, and a dogged focus on value – you'll be a champion of these behaviors yourself, and in the culture of your team. Accountability and autonomy are two sides of the same coin, and we expect you to demonstrate both.

What you'll be doing

  • You'll bring your varied Product career experience to bear to solve customer problems and create new opportunities for users to fall in love with Prolific.

  • You'll raise the bar of our product - and Product team - by making bets and building products that customers love and which drive commercial value for our business.

  • You will be an unblocker and simplifier of complexity: colleagues will bring you problems, and emerge optimistic, with solutions.

  • You'll partner productively with Product Design, User Research, Analytics, and Engineering to find ways to deliver products in a test-learn-iterate fashion.

What you'll bring

  • An extensive and varied track record working embedded in technology teams alongside engineers and designers.

  • Experience of optimising funnels in close collaboration with marketing and/or customer-facing disciplines, or of working within a growth team.

  • Competence or expertise in most or all of:

    • The industry's prevailing Product/Engineering methodologies, hands-on experience of Agile frameworks, continuous discovery, continuous delivery, JTBD frameworks, thin or vertical slicing, self-organizing teams, advocacy of 'thinking in bets,' test-learn-iterate loops, etc.

    • Strong commercial acumen alongside data-informed decision-making.

    • A storyteller's flair, a model teamplayer, belief in 'strong opinions weakly held', personal accountability, and a relentless can-do attitude.

Even better if you have

  • Scale-up or startup experience.

  • AI/ML training / AI/ML development experience.

  • A track record of giving back to your Design community.

Why Prolific is a great place to work

Product Playlab: Senior Product Manager

Shape Playlab's AI education platform strategy and roadmap by translating strategic pillars into shipped product features while working closely with engineering, design, and partnerships teams.

Senior Remote Posted about 16 hours ago We Work Remotely — Programming
What this role involves

Headquarters: Remote

About Playlab

Playlab is a tech non-profit dedicated to helping educators and students become critical consumers and creators of AI.

We believe that an open-source, community-driven approach is key to harnessing the potential of AI in education. We equip communities with AI tools and hands-on professional development that empowers educators & students to build custom AI apps for their unique context. Over 60,000 educators have published apps on Playlab – and the impact is growing every day.

At Playlab, we believe that AI is a new design material - one that should be shaped by many to bring their ideas about learning to life. If you're passionate about building creative, equitable futures for students and teachers, we hope you'll join us.

The Role

Playlab is hiring its first dedicated Product Manager. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who wants to shape how educators and students build with AI—not from a distance, but in the details.

You'll work to implement Playlab’s strategic pillars including:

  • Expand what's possible: Add new capabilities (e.g., components, agents) that expands Playlab beyond chatbots, so that users can build more software that meets their needs.

  • Deepen the context: Make Playlab the tool that best understands and adapts to user context, building on and expanding beyond our current work on curriculum knowledge graphs.

  • Set the safety standard: Establish Playlab as the benchmark for responsible AI in education, shifting the burden of safety from users to the platform.

Playlab has a near-term strategy defined. What we need is someone who can translate that strategy into shipped product, while sharpening the strategy based on what you learn along the way. You'll work directly with our CTO, engineering team, ML team, designers, and partnerships team. You'll hear directly from educators through our deep partner relationships. And you'll make product decisions that affect how educators and learners across the globe experience AI in education.

This role requires comfort with ambiguity. Playlab is an early-stage product with significant scope, a growing team, and limited existing product process. You'll need to build that process as you go—not wait for someone to hand it to you. If you need a lot of structure to do your best work, this isn't the right fit. If you thrive when you can shape the environment around you, read on.

What You'll Do

Drive Product Execution

  • Own the product roadmap: prioritize ruthlessly, write clear specs, and work with design, engineering, and learning teams to ship

  • De-risk builds by breaking work into meaningful increments that let us learn as we go

  • Make tradeoffs when scope, timeline, and resources collide and communicate those tradeoffs clearly

Go Deep on the Details

  • Write detailed requirements that align design, engineering, and go-to-market teams

  • Understand the technical constraints and possibilities, and work side-by-side with engineering

  • Engage directly with users, and gather user feedback, usage data, and partner insights to inform decisions

Build Product Process

  • Establish rituals, artifacts, and communication patterns that help a growing team stay aligned

  • Create clarity about how product decisions get made, without slowing the team down

  • Document what's working so others can build on it

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Work with Learning and Partnerships to translate field feedback into clear priorities and simpler designs

  • Coordinate with design to ensure what we build is usable, not just functional

Refine Strategy as You Learn

  • Pressure-test strategic assumptions against what you see in the product and hear from users

  • Surface when priorities should shift, and make the case with evidence

  • Help leadership make better decisions by bringing clarity to ambiguous situations

You Might Be a Fit If You...

  • Have 7+ years of product management experience, including at least one early-stage or high-growth environment where you had to build process, not just follow it

  • Have led product development for AI-powered or technically complex products—you can work fluently with ML and engineering teams

  • Get energy from the details: you'd rather write a clear spec than a strategy deck

  • Ship fast without cutting corners: you know how to de-risk builds and make incremental progress

  • Thrive in ambiguity and can make good decisions with incomplete information

  • Communicate crisply: you can explain complex tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Care about education, equity, or mission-driven work; this isn't just a job, it's a chance to shape how AI shows up in schools

Bonus Points For...

  • Experience in edtech or deep familiarity with how products land in K-12 or higher ed environments

  • Background working on platforms or tools where users build things (not just consume content)

  • Experience with responsible AI, content moderation, or trust & safety product work

  • Deep familiarity with the AI/LLM product landscape

Why Join Us?

Build the Product Function: You'll be Playlab's first PM and will get the chance to shape how product management works here.

Meaningful Scope: You'll own strategic pillars that directly affect whether educators can build AI tools that transform their classrooms.

Mission-Aligned Team: Join a small, passionate group committed to equity, creativity, and joyful learning.

Direct User Connection: Playlab's deep partnerships mean you'll hear directly from educators

Flexible Work: Remote-first environment with autonomy and a strong culture of collaboration. Occasional travel for partner meetings and team gatherings.

Competitive Pay & Benefits: Includes salary, healthcare, retirement, generous time off, and opportunities for professional growth.

Product Product Designer

Designs and manages product for government tech platform, leading customer research, prototypes, and specs through to shipping while collaborating closely with engineers.

Mid Remote Posted about 19 hours ago RemoteOK Dev
What this role involves

Hi there :)

Thanks for checking in to find out about our open position. We´ll provide as much information as possible, but please feel free to reach us if you have further questions. We´ll be happy to see your application, even if there are skills you don't quite master!

About us

We partner with high-growth companies to bring elite software engineers from Latin America who are not just technically strong but also AI-fluent and built for long-term partnerships. Our engineers integrate seamlessly into your team, working in your tools, your timezone, and with the same level of ownership your in-house team brings.

About the client

Our client provides cloud-based government management software used by municipalities across the United States. Their platform modernizes how local governments operate, from permitting and inspections to reporting and resident services. They run an AI-native product development model: small pods of strong engineers paired with designers who have real product judgment. No handoff culture. You own the loop.

About the role

You will be designing and managing product for a government tech platform. The work spans the full product cycle: customer research, wireframes, flows, prototypes, and final specs through to shipping. Some days you are deep in a customer interview, mapping a confusing workflow. Others, you are writing product intents and acceptance criteria, running a grooming session, or iterating directly in Claude Design or Lovable. AI tools are part of your daily workflow, not an afterthought. You will report to the Director of Product and Design and partner closely with one other hybrid designer/PM to cover the full product surface.

What you need to succeed

  • 3+ years in product design with meaningful PM experience on top

  • Strong customer research instincts: you know how to run a good interview and what to do with what you learn

  • Fluency in AI design and dev tools (Lovable, Claude, Make or comparable)

  • Proven ability to run a sprint, not just attend one

  • Product instincts grounded in user outcomes, not feature lists

  • Clear communicator with non-technical stakeholders, written and verbal

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and moving fast

What could set you apart

  • Experience in GovTech, B2B SaaS, or enterprise software for non-technical buyers

  • Background in government operations or public sector products

Our team

At South Geeks, we work with engineers who take ownership. You will be embedded with the client team, collaborating directly with their engineers and product leaders. Our People Ops team stays close to make sure you have everything you need to do your best work.

What we offer

  • Long-term projects

  • 100% remote work

  • Payment in USD

  • PTO

  • English lessons

  • Technical training

  • WFH budget

  • Career Coaching

This position is open to candidates anywhere in Latin America.

Product Product Designer

Designs and manages product for a government tech platform, conducting customer research, creating specs, and collaborating with engineers using AI-native tools daily.
