Job Title: Director of Influencer Marketing (Hybrid)

Location: Remote in Austin, Texas (you are only considering candidates in the Austin, Texas area)

Salary: $115,000 to $150,000 plus bonus and benefits

Description

PetLab Co. is the world leader in the DTC pet supplement market with a 9-figure revenue, profitable and rapidly growing globally.

We are looking for a Director of Influencer Marketing to build and scale a world-class influencer engine that drives both organic brand growth and direct response performance marketing. Influencer marketing is becoming one of the most important growth levers for PetLab Co. As the ecosystem evolves, particularly with the rapid rise of Meta Partnership Ads, TikTok Spark Ads, and creator-driven performance creative, we see a massive opportunity to build an influencer program that not only drives awareness, but also powers our paid acquisition strategy at scale.

This role is responsible for building and leading a high-performance influencer program spanning macro, mid-tier, and micro creators, producing content that performs both organically and as high-converting paid social ads. The Director of Influencer Marketing will own the full influencer lifecycle — from creator sourcing and relationship management through to creative strategy, campaign execution, performance analysis, and scaling the program through systems, automation, and team building.

You will work extremely closely with the paid media and creative teams to ensure influencer content becomes a core driver of our performance marketing engine. This role requires a highly strategic but deeply hands-on operator who thrives in fast-moving environments and is excited about building and scaling programs quickly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and scaling PetLab Co.’s global influencer marketing strategy
  • Building a high-volume influencer engine capable of working with 100–500+ creators per month
  • Identifying and recruiting creators across macro, mid-tier and micro influencer segments
  • Developing creator avatars and sourcing strategies aligned with our customer base
  • Building strong long-term relationships with creators
  • Leading the end-to-end influencer workflow, including sourcing, outreach, negotiation, briefing, and campaign execution
  • Developing high-performing creative briefs that generate content optimized for both organic engagement and paid ad performance
  • Collaborating closely with the paid media team to integrate influencer content into Meta, TikTok, and YouTube partnership ad strategies
  • Overseeing creator whitelisting / partnership ads, and dark-post ad usage
  • Ensuring influencer content meets brand, compliance, and quality standards
  • Establishing scalable systems, processes, and reporting frameworks
  • Leveraging AI tools and automation to improve influencer sourcing, outreach, briefing, and campaign management
  • Hiring and developing an in-house influencer team capable of scaling the program globally
  • Continuously testing new influencer formats, content styles, and campaign structures to improve performance

Who Will You Report To?

Hello, my name is Forest, VP of Marketing at PetLabCo., and I need your help.

At PetLab Co., our growth strategy has always been rooted in performance marketing, strong creative, and deep customer insights. As we continue to scale globally, influencer marketing is becoming a critical pillar of our acquisition strategy.

We’re not looking at influencer marketing purely as a brand awareness channel, we see creators as a core driver of performance creative across Meta, TikTok and other platforms.

This means the influencer program must operate in lockstep with paid media, ensuring the content creators produce feeds directly into our advertising engine.

Your mission will be to build and scale this influencer engine, identifying the right creators, building meaningful relationships with them, and developing content strategies that consistently produce high-performing ad creative.

You will work extremely closely with our paid media and creative teams to ensure influencer content performs at scale and contributes directly to revenue growth.

This role is an opportunity to build something truly significant, an influencer program capable of working with hundreds of creators every month, producing content that drives measurable performance across our marketing channels.

If you’re excited about combining creator marketing, performance advertising, and scalable systems, then this role will be an incredibly rewarding challenge.

  • Be extremely hands-on and thrive in high-growth startup environments

You’ll be working with a highly collaborative team spanning paid media, creative strategy, analytics, and product marketing, where everyone shares the same goal: identifying opportunities and executing quickly to capture them.

We value people who:

  • Think fast and move fast
  • Take ownership of their work
  • Love solving complex growth challenges
  • Bring structure and clarity to fast-moving environments

Marketing Product Marketing Lead at HealthJoy

Product Marketing Lead develops positioning strategy, ensures messaging consistency across teams, and executes product launch GTMs while leveraging AI tools to optimize marketing output.

Lead Posted 13 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Come for the mission. Stay for the experience.

Come for the mission. Stay for the healthtech innovation.

Let’s keep things simple: we’re a talented, hard-working, and compassionate team driving towards a mission that impacts every single one of us. Our path to success is paved with our proprietary technology, demanding team members who are naturally AI-forward and data-driven to accelerate our impact.

Healthcare benefits are complex and largely underutilized by most people. That’s why HealthJoy was built with one vision: to remove the complexity from being healthy and well. We do that by guiding employees to affordable, high-quality healthcare, consolidating our clients’ health and wellness strategies into the HealthJoy Benefits Operating System - a simple, unified digital experience. The result: healthier employees and a healthier bottom line.

With over $100M in fundraising to date, HealthJoy has garnered workplace awards for Inc.’s Fastest Growing Startups and Built In Chicago’s Best Places to Work while growing globally to over 300 team members. We’re continuing down the path of high growth and high impact, and this role is a key member of the Marketing team making that happen.

As Product Marketing Lead, you will be a high-impact strategist and a critical bridge-builder within the organization. Reporting directly to the Director of Product Marketing, you will serve as the essential liaison between our Product and Commercial teams, ensuring that our rapid pace of innovation is seamlessly translated into market-leading momentum.

We are looking for a team member who can work directly with leadership, offering sharp, data-backed suggestions to shape our trajectory. We need a modern marketer who views AI as a force multiplier, utilizing advanced tools to optimize your output and orchestrating AI agents to handle the routine, allowing you to focus on high-level strategy and influence.

Your impact.

  • Positioning governance — Maintain our positioning framework as the source of truth: what we say, what we don’t say, how we differ from competitors, and where we don’t play. Evolve it as the market and product change.
  • Narrative consistency — Evaluate marketing materials, sales content, and launch assets for messaging alignment. Partner with Content Marketing to keep the HealthJoy Benefits OS story coherent across every audience and channel.
  • GTM strategy & launch execution — Own positioning, messaging, and GTM strategy for product launches. Partner with Growth Marketing to translate product positioning into high-performing campaign themes and channel strategies. Lead cross-functional planning timed to industry seasonality and measure launch impact on the funnel. You are able to confidently work across teams and influence stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Market & competitive intelligence— Track market trends and how competitors position themselves. Maintain battlecards and oversee win/loss analysis. Keep a running record of what competitors say so we know what to avoid and where to counter.
  • Buyer expertise — Own deep knowledge of our buyers: benefits consultants, brokers, and the HR and finance leaders they advise at self-funded employers. Know their language and their pressures.
  • Product partnership — Work closely with Product Management. Understand the Benefits OS platform and its core capabilities well enough to position them confidently
  • Field team enablement— Partner with Revenue Enablement to build training and key message frameworks for Sales and Customer Success. Review training content for accuracy. Make sure field teams know what to say, what not to say, and why.
  • Performance & iteration— Tie PMM work to outcomes: win rate, sales cycle, content adoption. Work with Growth Marketing to analyze messaging resonance across digital channels. Use A/B test results and conversion data to refine our positioning and GTM activity.

Your experience.

  • 7+ years in product marketing, B2B or B2B2C — healthcare technology or benefits strongly preferred
  • Fluency in the benefits market: self-funded employers, benefits administration, the broker and consultant buying process
  • Experience with category creation or major market repositioning — not just launching features into an established narrative
  • Proven architect of positioning.  You’ve owned positioning before — built frameworks, defended them, and updated them when the market moved
  • Measurable results.  You can point to a launch that moved win rate, sales cycle, or content adoption and explain exactly why
  • AI- First mindset. You use AI tools to work faster and think better.  You have clear opinions on how to build, calibrate, and oversee AI agents to automate.
  • You drive alignment without authority — you’ve influenced the work of peers and senior stakeholders through the strength of your thinking, not a reporting line
  • You drive alignment across Sales, CS, and leadership — not just participate in it
  • Narrative trailblazer.  You’ve taken a product with no established narrative and made it coherent across a sales team, a launch plan, and a market that wasn’t paying attention yet
  • Master communicator.  Strong writer and communicator — clear, compelling, concise and able to appeal to different audiences
  • Educational background.  Bachelor’s or graduate degree in marketing, healthcare, business, or related field

What we’re all about

CB Insights is the leader in predictive intelligence on private companies—turning exclusive data on millions of firms into early, trusted signals on future performance and direction. The company pioneered predictive intelligence with its Mosaic Score—the first system to reliably forecast the outlook for a private company—and has since built it into a comprehensive platform of AI and data capabilities. Today, leading strategy, investment, and business development teams rely on CB Insights to identify the right companies, markets, and opportunities before their competitors do.

CB Insights Leadership Principles

At CB Insights, everyone is expected to be a leader. These leadership principles are like an operating system for our culture. Use the principles as a practical guide to making decisions.

We are what we repeatedly do. By living the principles outlined below, we will build an outstanding company and do insanely great work.

  1. Solve customer problems. It’s our highest calling. Designing a product? Start from the customer problem it solves. Updating our sales process? Flip it around, and simplify the customer buying process.
  2. Think BIG! Start small. Great changes start with a first step. Find it. Take it. Build a system around what works. This is the secret to bringing a vision to life.
  3. Go and see with your own eyes. Meet the customer, use the product, talk to the field. Great systems aren’t built from afar.
  4. Priorities: Choose one. Leaders give the gift of clarity. They find the most important thing and do it. Max power. Top speed.
  5. Danger zones:
    • Bureaucracy. May the best ideas and execution win.
    • Complexity. Leaders use frameworks and systems to simplify.
    • No commitment. Leaders don’t compromise just to get along. Debate. Disagree. But once a decision is made, commit.
    • Leaving what’s important unsaid or undone. No “circling back.”
  6. Data informs. Insight transforms. Pull the thread. Ask why. Leaders are curious. They use what they learn to create clarity.
  7. Insist on excellence. Leaders set high standards and overcome obstacles. They do the kind of work they’re excited to share with the world.
  8. Live off the land. Leaders creatively use resources already available to them – especially AI – to execute and automate their work.
  9. Good judgment. Leaders have it. Where it comes from: insight, listening, first-hand experience. How to apply it: carefully on big, hard to reverse decisions. Swiftly on limited, easy to reverse ones.
  10. Help others. Leaders know we’re building this together.

You’ll want to work here if

  • You are excited about how AI is transforming tech
  • You are hungry for feedback and the chance to grow
  • Your instinct is to work smarter not harder
  • You love developing as a SME with a strong POV

Lead social media strategy across platforms, manage organic social ecosystem, and collaborate with paid social teams to drive brand presence and cultural relevance.

What this role involves

WE ARE STARFACE

Since launching in 2019, Starface has transformed the historically negative experience of having acne into something joyful, relatable, and expressive. As the first complexion brand to combine efficacy and optimism, we’ve created a category of our own: effective, playful skincare that makes people feel good. We take skincare concerns once thought of as flaws and turn them into opportunities for self-expression—because it’s all just skin.

From our colorful hydrocolloid pimple patches to limited-edition collaborations with fan-favorite characters like Hello Kitty and Snoopy—and fashion brands like Marc Jacobs’ Heaven—Starface lives at the intersection of beauty, culture, and community. Alongside our award-winning patches, we now offer salicylic acid skincare, pore strips, and lip balm. Many of our products, including Star Balm, were born from years of customer demand, reflecting our ability to grow across categories while staying true to who we are.

Starface World is a positively uplifting place where everyone is safe and accepted exactly as they are. We support causes and actively work to help build a more supportive universe. That same philosophy guides how we care for skin: we don’t identify imperfections—we nurture what’s there.

Our team is a growing group of passionate, empathetic, creative people who are eager to learn. We are committed to a sustained focus on diversity, equity, anti-racism, and inclusion.

your impact @ starface

Starface is seeking a Director, Social Media Marketing to lead the strategic direction of our social presence across platforms. In this role, you’ll report directly to our SVP of Marketing and oversee the evolution of our platform strategy, content planning, and organic social ecosystem while helping strengthen the connection between organic and paid social efforts.

You’ll be the person with the clearest and most complete view of our social presence at any given moment—bringing together performance insights, cultural relevance, platform expertise, and creative thinking to help Starface stay ahead of where social is going, not just keep pace with it.

The right person for this role is deeply strategic but highly executional, creatively sharp without needing to own the creative itself, naturally collaborative, and obsessed with online culture and platform evolution. They know how to turn insights into action, write strong briefs that inspire great work, and create systems that make teams stronger.

At Starface, we love people who defy convention and welcome an attitude of exploration into the bold and creative in all that we do. If you are a culturally fluent social strategist who thrives in fast-moving environments and loves building brands with real community impact, and all of this resonates with you so far, please keep reading!

we’ll count on you to

  • Own and evolve Starface’s social media and platform strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms
  • Lead the social content calendar and ensure every piece of content ladders back to a clear strategic purpose
  • Develop thoughtful, actionable creative briefs that push ideas forward and help unlock stronger creative work
  • Partner closely with the creative team, including our Director of Social Content to ensure strategy enhances creativity rather than constrains it
  • Create and continuously refine platform-specific playbooks, KPIs, benchmarks, and reporting frameworks
  • Monitor social performance and translate insights into recommendations and next steps
  • Maintain and grow Starface on TikTok and Instagram while helping identify and build meaningful presence on new and emerging platforms
  • Build a stronger feedback loop between organic and paid social, ensuring learnings are shared consistently across teams
  • Collaborate regularly with paid media partners to align on content needs, testing opportunities, and performance insights
  • Manage external agency partners and ensure high-quality strategic output and execution
  • Monitor content performance and turn insights into actionable recommendations that improve creative and business outcomes
  • Build and continuously refine platform-specific playbooks, KPIs, benchmarks, and reporting frameworks
  • Stay deeply informed on platform shifts, internet culture, creators, and competitive activity—and bring forward what’s actually worth paying attention to
  • Lead, mentor, and support two direct reports while helping elevate the overall social function

this role is for you if

  • You’ve spent 6+ years leading social strategy and managing owned channels for a consumer brand, ideally in beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or CPG
  • You’ve worked at a brand known for strong social storytelling and cultural relevance—not just large media budgets
  • You know TikTok and Instagram natively and understand how platform behavior evolves in real time
  • You’ve built social strategies and reporting frameworks from scratch
  • You have hands-on experience aligning organic and paid social teams in meaningful ways
  • You know how to write briefs that creatives actually want to use
  • You’re equally comfortable thinking strategically and getting into executional details
  • You’ve managed agencies and know how to get the best work out of external partners
  • You can confidently collaborate with creative leadership while respecting creative ownership
  • You’re proactive, curious, collaborative, and genuinely excited by what’s next in social culture

salary & benefits

  • The compensation range for this role is a $140,000-$160,000 base depending on level of experience, as well as bonus eligibility.
  • Additional benefits include:
    • Access to high-quality health care options
    • Access to a 401k with 5% employer match eligibility
    • 4 weeks of vacation plus up to 20 paid holidays
    • 12 weeks fully paid parental leave
    • 5 days of pet-ernity leave for pet adoption
    • Home office & internet supplement stipend
    • Annual learning & development stipend
    • Flexible Fridays, and Summer Fridays
    • Fully remote work environment
    • …and much, much more!

Starface is an Equal Opportunity Employer where the spirit of inclusion feeds into everything that we do.  We are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.  We believe that opportunity, access, resources and rewards should be available to and for the benefit of all.  Starface is committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ethnicity, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship status, marital status, disability, gender identity, gender expression, and Veteran status.

Marketing Product Marketing Lead at HealthJoy

Develops product positioning, messaging strategy, and go-to-market plans for healthcare software launches while bridging product and commercial teams.
