Operator Intern Demo Experience & Applied AI at Celonis

Intern prototypes AI-assisted demo workflows, configures platform demos, and experiments with agentic tools to automate demo creation at scale.

Junior Posted about 19 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Celonis is the global leader in Process Intelligence and the pioneer of Process Mining technology. As one of the world’s fastest-growing enterprise SaaS companies, we are changemakers pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. We invest heavily in advanced AI capabilities—specifically our Process Intelligence Graph—to turn data insights into immediate business action. We believe there is a massive opportunity to unlock global productivity and sustainability by placing intelligence at the core of every business process. Join our mission to make processes work for people, companies, and the planet.

The Team:

Celonis Demo Engineering is the creative and technical engine of our Go-To-Market strategy. We are on a high-stakes mission to build the Next-Gen Demo Factory — a world where AI agents and LLMs handle the heavy lifting of demo creation, democratizing demo excellence for 1,000+ GTM colleagues. We create experiences that kick off our customers’ journey with Celonis and help them visualize the future on our platform.

To build these experiences, we collaborate with Value Engineering, Product Management, Product Marketing, Enablement, and Industry teams — and we push the limits of the Celonis platform to bring our vision to life.

The Role:

As a Demo Engineering Intern, you’ll sit at the intersection of technology, storytelling, and business strategy — and you’ll contribute to our Next-Gen Demo Factory mission, where AI agents and smart workflows are transforming how we build and deliver demos at scale. You’ll help prototype agentic tools, configure demos on the Celonis platform, and experiment with AI-assisted storytelling. But this isn’t just a technical role: you’ll also develop a broad understanding of the real-world business problems Celonis solves across industries like manufacturing, retail, and financial services — giving you a rare window into both the technical and commercial sides of an enterprise AI company.

The work you’ll do:

  • Explore the AI-powered demo frontier: Support the build of AI-assisted workflows — prompt-to-demo experiments, automated data story generation, and smart screen configuration.
  • Learn the business landscape: Work across industries and functions — from Accounts Payable to Supply Chain — to understand the problems Celonis solves and translate them into compelling, executive-ready stories.
  • Partner with Value Engineering, Product Marketing, and Industry teams to develop demos that resonate with both technical and business audiences.
  • Contribute to demo assets across formats: C-level executive demos, event showcases, product feature demos, and AI use case prototypes.
  • Help identify manual tasks in the demo lifecycle and propose or prototype automation ideas to reduce effort.
  • Assist with demo QA, environment maintenance, and responding to internal user questions.

The qualifications you need:

  • A curiosity about both business and technology — you’re as interested in understanding why a process breaks down as you are in the tools that fix it.
  • Some exposure to SQL and/or Python (coursework counts) — you don’t need to be a developer, but comfort with data is a plus.
  • The ability to take a complex idea and tell a clear, compelling story around it.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
  • A degree in progress in Management & Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.

What Celonis can offer you:

  • Pioneer Innovation: Work with the global leader in Process Mining and the Process Intelligence Graph to shape the future of AI-driven business operations.
  • Ownership from Day 1: Every full-time “Celonaut” is an owner, receiving Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and merit-based refresh grants.
  • Unrivaled Family Support: Benefit from our inclusive parental leave policy—24 weeks of fully paid leave for primary carers and 12 weeks for supporting carers, available from your first day of employment.
  • Work-Life Integration: Enjoy Unlimited PTO (in applicable regions) and generous PTO globally, as well as a flexible hybrid work model that balances remote focus with vibrant office collaboration.
  • Continuous Growth: Elevate your skills through our 70-20-10 learning framework, mentorship programs, and access to a dedicated learning platform.
  • Holistic Well-being: Prioritize your health with subsidized Wellhub memberships, mental health counseling, and dedicated “Wellness Weeks” that prioritize work/life balance.
  • Drive Sustainability: Participate in annual Impact Days, where you receive paid time off to volunteer for community and environmental causes with your local office, or virtually.
  • Global Inclusion & Belonging: Find community through our Inclusion Think Tank and participate in our annual Inclusion Days, ensuring every voice is heard and valued.
  • Value-Driven Impact: Join a mission-led organization where our core values—Live for Customer Value, The Best Team Wins, We Own It, and Earth Is Our Future—drive every decision.
